2025 in Review: Connecting Communities and Driving Innovation Across Delaware

With 2025 coming to a close, Comcast stands at a transformative moment as we see the initiatives and innovations of the past year take shape and deliver impact.

We recently launched Imagine That, which reimagines the story of Frankenstein and places the iconic monster “Frank” in a world powered by Xfinity, Comcast’s residential services brand. Frank’s world is one where WiFi self-heals, mobile service follows him seamlessly, home security anticipates his needs, and entertainment is always at his fingertips – showcasing how life is better when technology works for you, connecting your world effortlessly and enhancing everyday moments.

Imagine That is more than brand platform – it’s a reflection of our purpose. Xfinity is building a world where technology works so seamlessly that life feels simpler, safer, and more extraordinary.

In 2025, the company brought the vision of Imagine That to life through product innovations including:

  • Xfinity Internet: We have been virtualizing our network with next-generation broadband technology, making it even more reliable, nimbler and resilient. Additionally, for the first time, Xfinity launched nationwide offers featuring four speed tiers, each including Xfinity’s best-in-class WiFi gateway and the option of a five-year price guarantee, all without an annual contract.
  • Xfinity Mobile: Whether it’s savings, speed, reliability, or the best deals on the best devices, Xfinity Mobile delivers an unmatched wireless experience at a better price. This year, we offered Internet customers a line of Xfinity Mobile on us – an offer still available. With Xfinity Mobile, customers enjoy speeds up to one gig at home and on the go with WiFi PowerBoost.

We have also been active in Delaware expanding our network, engaging new businesses, and building local partnerships with the communities we serve.

Connecting More Communities to Xfinity and Comcast Business in Delaware

In 2025, we continued to grow our footprint in Delaware, expanding our broadband network to thousands of new homes and businesses, bringing the promise of high-speed Internet to rural areas, small towns and tight-knit communities.

Highlights from this year’s expansion in Delaware include connecting the first customers in Middletown, DE to reliable, high-speed Internet from Xfinity. This is part of a project that will ultimately connect more than 13,000 homes and businesses in Middleton to our state-of-the-art network.

We also published a video showcasing our partnership with Delaware to connect more than 2,600 previously unserved homes and businesses in rural parts of Sussex County – featuring stories from local farmers, shop owners, and residents who were connected through this expansion.

These milestones are part of Comcast’s ongoing investment in Delaware. In total, Comcast has invested $508.7 million in Delaware in the last three years. This includes $197.6 million in technology and infrastructure investments – including upgrades to our network and new construction.

Powering Delaware Businesses with Technology Solutions from Comcast Business

Comcast Business continues to empower organizations of all sizes with a robust suite of connectivity, cybersecurity, networking, and managed solutions designed to help businesses grow and adapt in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

This year, we spotlighted the journey of Nick’s Mini Golf – which relies on Comcast Business to power operations at its eight locations across Delaware and Maryland, including one of its newest locations in Rehoboth Beach.

Building a Future of Unlimited Possibilities in Delaware

Across Delaware local organizations are working to expand digital access and skills – and through Project UP, Comcast’s $1 billion commitment to advance digital opportunity, we’re proud to support their efforts to unlock opportunity and drive lasting impact.

This year, we partnered with several organizations making a difference, including awarding a $20,000 grant to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware to support local youth with digital skills training and career development through the organization’s “My Future” education platform.

Additionally, as part of our expansion into Middletown, we hosted a community celebration that included a $25,000 donation to Warriors Helping Warriors, a local nonprofit committed to serving veterans in need.

Together, these partnerships are helping build a future of unlimited possibilities – one where everyone has the tools to learn, grow, and thrive.

Looking Ahead

As we close out 2025, Comcast remains focused on the convergence of connectivity and content to create powerful experiences.
